HAVVA x My Hackathon 2020 – An Urban Agricultural Technology Company That Successfully Completed The Challenge
For all HAVVA fans, HAVVA has good news to share regarding the My Hackathon 2020!
Malaysia has always been looking for new opportunities to improve with advance technology and online platform ideas. In addition, using these solutions to solve emerging problems is the main purpose of Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI).
What is My Hackathon
Malaysia’s codefest that desires talents to bring up innovative ideas. Young talent in Malaysia is encouraged to join the My Hackathon. Moreover, it is along with the direction of MOSTI to propose a better digital solution for country development. However due to the recent global pandemic, it has ran online to ensure a smooth and safe interaction.
Successful Harvest
HAVVA had distributed 3 members to participate in the My Hackathon 2020. Surprisingly, HAVVA managed to won a grant of RM250,000.
We utilize this fund to create a smart urban farming app. With it, anyone can grow their crops easily with their device!
It serves as the one stop solution app to answer every farming problem you face. Meet problem, swipe it, continue to farm easily.
Through this competition, we have gained a lot of valuable experiences. Many different experts from various fields have provided us with much feedbacks and opinions. Indeed, it has really widen our horizon!
It is believed that this system will bring a breakthrough into urban farming field, especially benefiting the home gardeners to comemercial farmers.
What are we going to say
We work to improve and deliver a better urban smart farming solution through continual R&D efforts.
Because one of the titles in “My Hackathon 2020″ attracted our attention. That is: to propose a digital solution to enhance and develop urban smart agricultural ecosystems, communities, processes and information sharing.
